very great movie and so deep/layered. heavy themes of mercy overlayed on a historic period

It really doesn’t matter what I classify it as, but that’s just it. It’s an elusive style evocative of the Euro/stylistic or surrealistic style. Repetitions, heavy motifs. it ebbs and flows in a really dramatic fashion.
The store goes from the 1948 nakba to the present day (at release). i was heartbroken and in love the whole time, i was angry yet charmed. The ending leaves you thinking
