  Sincere review: always jaw dropping but thanks to now having emotions (bless HRT) I cried a few times as well. Didn't think I'd be getting more out of this incredibly dense film and yet, there I was in the front row of an Imax theater crying my eyes out. Lady Eboshi remains one of the best written antagonists of all time, every other character is pitch perfect. I wanna dissect this film so badly, this is going on my list of video essay ideas. 10/10

  Insincere review: Ashitaka is an egg, San is a futch lesbian, Eboshi is Aro/Ace, and the Deer God is genderless. 10/10

  I'll be writing an essay about this for my last college film class, I'll post it here. It might not be as long as Chris Mell's review of My Dinner With Andre.

  Quick review though: Excellent film on a generational rift. My favorite films are ones that can talk about sensitive topics not by preaching directly to camera (not that I don't love a good Spike Lee monologue), but by focusing solely on individual stories.
