John Waters is a freak. And NOT in a good way
I’ll start with the very few positives I have of this film. Most, and I have to stress when I say most of Divines scenes were pretty iconic. She is theatrical and eccentric. Shameless and proud. And has a cool bold red dress. The last 10-15 minutes with the court & execution was amazing too, if only the rest of the film was that iconic, maybe I could've actually enjoyed this…

I reckon it’s probably hard to try make the entire dialogue of a >2.5hour film philosophical and/or poetic, because about at least a two thirds of it was just pure waffle and chaos. I’m not a petty person myself, so if I ever sat down to dissect each line, I bet this movie would make a whole lot more sense.
