This is one of my favorite movies for a reason. Each scene is so comforting yet so uncomfortable at the same time.
I think it portrays people and their interactions with the world in a way that many movies fail to do. The main character is so numb to life and slowly grows to realize that it’s okay to have emotions.
The soundtrack, colors, parallels, cinematography, and simplicity of the movie make it so underrated. I could watch it a million times over and still feel it.
