Loved it. Whilst of it's time, the cast were fantastic and it was a heart warming wonderful watch

I always try to go into films now with my expectations quite low because I've always been burned by people.Hyping up a movie too much. However, this film hit all of my hopeful expectations. The cinematography was stunning and strong performances from all thr actors I have never wished a (longish) film to be slightly longer. But I wish William Defoe had a bit more screen time. At points, some performances were a little hammed up? I enjoyed the pacing…

Really enjoyed this movie! I love how the film sets up the murder well with a cast of unlikeable upper class and many suspects in the murder. The baffoonery and bluntness of the detective really makes us aware that this isn't a murder mystery but social commentary. It was fascinating as a viewer to almost solely learn about the murder between whispers of the house staff. Really really enjoyed it and what a seller cast!
