Disco Pigs 2001
6/10
In all my 15 years years spend on Earth, I have never been more confused in what to think about a film. Their love was mad, tragic, mad, exiting and mad.
The actors played their characters beautifully and I was shocked to find out that this was Cillian Murphy’s debut film.
If you want a light-hearted, easy-going film, this is definitely not for you. However, if you are into deep, tragically maddening love stories, this is 101% for you.
(also you might want to switch on the subtitles because their Irish accents are quite thick for the average English language)Translated from by -

Despite what people say about this film, I quite enjoyed it.
I wouldn’t exactly call it strong sex (as the regulations described it), but it was somewhat passionate for sure.
There was quite a lot of silence moment (probably half the film has no words), but I think it worked and helped me admire the background of the scenes.
Maybe I just loved this film because it was the first time I went to the cinema in 15 months, but also because I’m a sucker for anything set before the 20th century.
