some books just shouldnt be films. im sorry saoirse ronan but this is an embarassment to you and all youve worked for.
i loved the book, expected good things. but then suddenly the after life is depicted as a desktop automatic screen saver.
the grandma carried it all. buckleys character was just irrelevant and lindsay was wasted potential.
the ending was also whack. so confusing.
only good bit was when the dad had his epiphany. and also the mum was FIT.

the chaos of this film matched the point of it so perfectly, the hecticness wasnt over used at all.
the tribute to elvis at the end felt so much more personal.
