Zone of Interest really takes an interesting perspective of the holocaust we usually never see, the compliance of the ordinary people and how they live their cottagecore fantasy without a care about horrors they happened behind them which feels eerily similar to what is happening today. Overall, the ending was the best, I would say the soundtrack really added to it.

I loved this film, probably one of my favourites last year. Its finally nice to see a film with two sapphic characters actually be failures, horny and overall messy which a lot of queer representation tends to be quite stale. I died laughing Nicholas Galitzine's quite campy performance, the man has range and Ayo Edebiri's improvised monologue in the beginning was hilariously good and yeah also expresses my deepest fear of wearing a white suit.

The hype of this film was interesting at least. But disappointing. I guess the scenes which got everyone on edge was shocking for those who don't watch psychosexual thrillers a lot. I did like the cinematography and scenery. This felt like a upper class nightmare film and middle class revenge fantasy film. Overall the story wasn't great, I was just not feeling it as much. I did like watching Barry Keoghan dancing tho to Murder on the Dancefloor.
