    At first I thought the Trump caricature was too on the nose, but honestly f*ck subtlety when it comes to that guy. Him and his base are anything but subtle. Maybe audiences need the in-your-face depiction of fanaticism. But then again, the people that most need to reflect on these themes will probably just disregard this as “liberal propaganda.” 

    Surprisingly beautiful depiction of love that I was not expecting from this movie??? Great s*x scenes too. 

    The sauce thing was so funny.

    Great adaptation but idk I feel like adult Jane should be a tad more fiery. 

    Ending is beautiful BUT I’m upset they didn’t include one of the best and most romantic lines from the book: 

    “Oh, you are indeed there, my skylark! Come to me. You are not gone: not vanished? I heard one of your kind an hour ago, singing high over the wood: but its song had no music for me, any more than the rising sun had…
