  I was a spark in golden air,
  but now I fade, beyond repair.

  A controversial film, but I think it handles its disturbing themes better than many others. The story isn’t a love tale, it’s about abuse, manipulation, and power imbalance, which makes it deeply unsettling. While some might find it unbearable to watch, I don’t think the film romanticizes its subject matter. That said, there were moments that left me thinking what the hell am I whatching, but overall, given the difficult themes, I think it was well executed.
