I’ve been wanting to watch this since the composers event at work and then watching them lowkey sweep at the animations awards show. The orchestral music in person was just absolutely insane so def was a motivating factor. Plus it was cool to watch after having seen and listened to the director and composer talk about the movie in person
Was expecting it to be more artsy/no dialogue as opposed to kids movie w speaking. But I liked the animation…

I liked this! Went into it knowing it’s a sad movie, but didn’t expect so many sweet/wholesome scenes too. There were a couple of funny moments I wasn’t expecting, which was nice I suppose. I also really liked the flashback style, though it took me a minute to understand. At first I thought he was just hallucinating someone else after getting hit by the car. Anywho.
