This film is very...disturbing. Where a woman is trapped in a cycle of being sexually abused/harassed/groomed by a pedophile for many of years, and after trying to escape is still pulled back in, turning back to the needle. This movie does a good job showing the abuse, and torture she had to endure, breaking the cycle is easier said then done. I do wish they didn't leave it on the cliffhanger that the did, but can see why for the effect of the movie, Alice was found.

Hate that this is a follow up to The Father, because this doesn't do it justice. Shot and scored really really well, but some of the scenes just feel...off, I do feel like the film would have done a lot better if Nicolas was recast.
