After I heard Jim Carrey refused to promote it on the grounds it was too violent I did the reasonable thing and went to see it when it see it the day it came out.

Kick-Ass 2 manages to improve on everything the 1st one had to offer whilst maintaining it's innocence. Being as unpredictable as the 1st it is definitely worth going to see.

Arguably one of the best super hero films of all time. Being a realistic take on the idea 'what if super heroes existed?' It offers up the perfect balance of comedy and action.

What sets this film aside from even Chris Nolan's batman is the character development and how Dave is affected by his life as Kick-Ass, something I think more directors need to address when developing a plot.

Although pretty cringworthy in parts altogether a good film.

After seeing this film for the first time I kind of felt robbed of a good ending. However the more I watched it and thought about it you kind of begin to appreciate the dialogue which runs throughout the film. In a sense it's fair to say the ending acts like a keyword to a diary.

This film lives up to Nolan's expected standards. Based on the idea of lucid dreaming, a machine capable of infiltrating dreams has been created and a team led by Cobb (DiCaprio), plan on using it to manipulating a billionaire in discontinuing his father's business.

With enough cinematography and special effects to make Avatar look like a B movie, it's fair to say this film satisfies on all levels.
