    the jesus rolls is definitely a movie. i’m not particularly interested or fond of the genre that this film falls under, so my opinion and review of this film doesn’t mean much. 

    as far as movies go, it can be enjoyable if you can look past the lack of a real plot and a non-hispanic person portraying what feels like at times a caricature of a latino man.

    This film wasn't awful but I don't think it was that great. Overall, the casting was good. Kristen Cui was amazing, her performance brought an additional heartwrenching layer to the film, and a lot of the impact of this film was a result of her performance.
