Perfectly illustrates the way that the pains of imprisonment are felt not just by the prisoners but their families and community too. Seriously heartbreaking. Fully cried. Highly recommend.
Less tacky than I was expecting but relies too much on mediocre jump scares and some less-than-scary smiling. Made enjoyable perhaps only by the reactions of those I watched it with.
Of all the regrettable plot twists this movie has, the worst one was finding out that the awful acting was thanks to Shyamalan’s willingness to be absolutely shameless with his nepotism
