Fun and Craig's performance is peak and his emotional development works, but the plot is WAY too self-important and over the top. That might be alright for a normal Bond movie, but it does not work when Craig's character is supposed to be more serious. So the main villain is Bond's brother, was responsible for every other villain and the killing of M and Vesper, has been monitoring Bond his whole life, and has a mole that controls the entire British intelligence service? Was that really necessary?
