I love that it’s all in all spoken in Welsh, and ( filmed there) but I just never felt invested in this. It’s slow, which is fine, but when the graphic gore does come it’s actually stomach turning, but not in a good way. It literally made me gag.
The broken glass device,  we did not need to have it retold: remember she did this earlier? Ya we remember, how is it not hurting her as well though?
It’s a shame, it could have been so much better. Save your lunch and pass this one.

    Oh, Canada

This just did not work for me, it felt forced and quite frankly it was boring.
I didn’t believe a lot of the supporting actors, and Gere was an asshole through most of it.

    When Harry Met Sally...

    ★★★½

This is the pinnacle of 90’s romantic comedy. One of the most overdone genres, the most saccharine being Hallmark of course.
The real couples being interviewed are charming, Billy Crystal keeps it funny, and a cute Meg Ryan ( before she had work done, trying to hang onto the cute I guess..). The friends: Bruno Kirby and Carrie Fisher are a hoot. All in all this is one of, if not the best of its kind, that asks the big question can men and women just be friends? According to this movie, the answer is no.

I have watched Vertigo a few times, but all of a sudden on this most recent viewing did I fall in love( not with the story) but with the beauty of each shot it’s almost surreal. Definitely where David Lynch was influenced, and the more obvious and admitted- Brian De Palma. I watched it on Blu Ray at home, but it would be great on a big screen.
