  I fully didn’t expect this ending. I gauged that they would go down a different route considering Brody’s character, kopernick’s, distaste for the generic lack lustre whodunnit and the similarities that the story held to his script. The simultaneous alignment to Kopernicks script did de-rail slightly in the middle, I felt, and as a result the effectiveness of this was a little lost. Although, this was remedied by the end scene (hastily). This was however a totally witty and enjoyable film, IMO.

  I had no fucking clue what was going on 90% of the time and got very lost on the dialect, put the subtitles on, and was actually still lost, that’s probably just on me. But I still somehow enjoyed this film quite a lot. Subtly funny. If Hunter S. Thomson, and The Dude had a love child in the form of a PI in 70s California I think this would be it.
