Brady Corbet wanted to make a serious movie, that much is very clear. Why is this the story he wanted to tell? Why is it zionist but masquerading as apolitical? Why did they use AI in a film partially about the struggle of an artist to pursue their vision???

Was shocked at how visually ugly this was! Not sure how any elements of this ended up in the final film, but it is kind of hard to hate something so sincere. Might be reevaluated as a masterpiece at some point?? Was actually a perfect NYE movie tbh.
