Lawless 2012
I paid a lot of attention to the music this time around. Nick Cave & the Bootleggers with Emmylou Harris did a killer job performing and arranging these songs. It felt authentic, eerie, and emotional.
Great story of how this family was able to handle the adversity of doing things their way.

I liked the way they shot this. A lot of cool frames, ceiling shots & colors. Especially that rose to red shot. My ears were playing tricks on me.. all of the distant screams & gunshots kept me on the fence the whole time. Maybe he was gagging at the end bc he had realized the morality & harm of what his work was doing..
I liked that canoe scene a lot.. that was a nice canoe..
