More comedic than horrific but surprised me. Was a really fun ride. Shout out to Sir Theo, the pastor and Ms. Tatiana. Never call the monkey a toy tho. Made that mistake once. Right ?

Thought it was a heavy film. I have pretty strong opinions of Oscar-nominated films centering people of color. They typically focus on some traumatic experience that the critics deem as art worthy, important, and all of a sudden timely.
