As a gundam fan, especially the old universal century stuff (70s stuff), had a ton of fun. But it’s not perfect, so much that’s inaccessible for new viewers. Lots of technobabble, which I understand but many people won’t, and it’s so dense within the first third. Love the style, fun characters, good designs, fascinating AU stuff, loved all that. Doesn’t end on a satisfying “works kinda as a movie” note though. Either way, excited to see more, love the vibes and looks great; want to see where the plot goes, and I swear it has strong queer themes which I personally always enjoy.

Forgot to review this when I saw it.
Heavily flawed movie, with a genuinely funny opening that falls off as it goes. It’s a shame, could have been a very good movie.
However, it does not deserve its reputation of “ one of the worst movies of all time “, worse movies come out every month. It’s just mediocre, with some great moments that it sadly just can’t hold on to. Not a truly bad movie, it just didn’t turn out right.Translated from by
