  The film community is so shallow and full of shit this is actually such a disappointing watch.

  Incredible acting that just feels sooooooooo real. It felt like a real family and just it was amazing. This movie shows a child dealing with some real issues but it’s not overboard it’s just very real. 
  I haven’t seen Alcarras yet but I heard Carla Simon talk about her casting process and her films just feel so perfectly made without flaws. It was very slow tho and at some points hard to stay focused but it’s pretty amazing.

  I just read the book so I thought I should rewatch this! 

  Cormack McCarthy is my favorite writer and No Country for Old Men  might be my favorite book of his that i’ve read so far. I thought that this film was almost a perfect adaptation of the book but in the last half hour I started to dislike some of the choices.
