i really admire nolan's work: they're true displays of artistic prowess. but i wouldn't say i find them particularly moving—however, interstellar truly offers the best of both worlds. i can't help but be in awe of the film's visuals, while tearing up at the emotional beats, time and time again. i don't care if calling this one of my faves makes of me your run-of-the-mill film bro, i'll wax poetic about this any day of the week.
