Ariana Grande is talented, but it takes away from the movie when someone so recognizable is on screen. I didn’t see Glinda—I saw Ariana Grande, and I think that’s a flaw. Saying there was no one else who could have played the role is like the Emilia Perez cast saying there were no talented Mexican actors, so they chose Selena Gomez instead.
