I originally opened my laptop with the intention to google criticisms of The Last Samurai. Surely if I had done so, countless internet users would have pointed out all the bad of this movie. This film nails the feeling of isolation by placing us in an amazingly crafted cyberpunk world. The sci-fi elements and noir style blended very well. Deckard sitting in his car, rain falling hard, jazz and tech tones blaring, is oddly peaceful and lonely.
