  absolutely insane movie with so many beautiful (and disturbed!) women. everybody was getting gay allegations it was very serious. nice surprise to see judy greer she is so beautiful and ohmygod detective cruz.

  “s/m is about leaving someone stronger” 

  fascinating documentary i enjoy seeing how
  much love and camaraderie existed in the s/m scene. it feels like a whole world away from here and now. there’s so much versatility in the queer community. the monologue about the knife play at the end was so absorbing, especially with the music. i understand how they felt so transported in that moment to something beyond reality.

  just an absolute beauty of a film! 

  the setting, atmosphere, music, and acting were all on point it swept me away. i really enjoyed the differences in color grading used throughout and how desaturated it all was. it takes inspiration from the original film while creating something new. lily-rose depp was phenomenal and her performance sticks with me. 

  i love the writing and its focus on female desire and shame for that desire. every person close to ellen misunderstands her…
