another parasocial grandpa added to my parasocial family. i don’t think i’ve ever been so comforted by a movie that is not even at one point relatable to me. as a lover of a man named otto i was lowkey ready for ben to die at the end for dramatic effect, but i have to say i’m glad to see a movie about a lovely old man end on a happy note for once
