  maybe because i’m currently reading the book (i got two thirds of the way through just before the screening of the film sadly) i found a lot of the film underwhelming. as someone who loves lingering pretty shots, and who loves the detailed expression of a girls room (especially a teenage girls room) i can’t help but think this movie deprived us of the depths of the girls seen through the eyes of boys and the layers the scenario presents.…

  the vape hit stare is a valid and expressive emotion too guys. starting at photo copier and ending at vape hit stare (you know the scene) how riveting and delicious, better than reality tv!

  the father didn’t just invent the iron claw he WAS the iron claw pushing down on all of their heads relentlessly. beautiful colours, such interesting framing especially of the ring and the fights, and surprising depth to the characters relationships. very unhappy that they left out a brother though. also men need to go back to wearing booty shorts.
