If I had a dollar for every time that I consumed some type of media in which the male protagonists' bottled-up emotions are hinted at/symbolised by a toilet plunger, I'd have two dollars, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Vonnegut would be happy.

A Complete Unknown 2024
The first half is a truly mythical experience as the duke of Arakis meets his heroes and flatters everyone with sheer talent. The second part devolves into a run-of-the-mill musician biopic, only elevated by the final performance (but then ofc they need to give us 3 different endings as well). We didn't really learn anything about Dylan except that he was kinda rude to people, yet the movie managed to be quite inspiring and a good watch.
