Queen & Slim 2019
You can’t deny the power of Queen and Slim. Emotion flows heavy in this crime thriller that has an unlikely and satisfying love story woven into it. Daniel Kaluuya is fantastic as always. A great commentary on the unfortunate relationship between the police force and the African-American community. The soulful and jazzy soundtrack puts a pretty bow on the well-wrapped present that is Queen and Slim.

Irreverent, indulgent, violent, comedic, and a guilty pleasure of a watch. Riff Raff is a fun, dark crime comedy carried by strong performances from Ed Harris, Jennifer Coolidge, and Lewis Pullman. The chemistry between Bill Murray and Pete Davidson will have you enjoying all of their scenes together and young star Miles J. Harvey steals the show. A throwback to crime capers of the 70s with a modern comedic twist makes this quite the fun watch.

Saw this today. Really sad, but really powerful at the same time. Zac Efron gives a Oscar-worthy performance and Jeremy Allen White knocks it out of the park too. Definitely worth a ticket purchase and might cause some tears as well.
