  Spent a good chunk of today reading around the topic trying to figure out if I was wrong to like this. Tentatively pretty sure it's very good and not in fact a paedophilic porno. Must apologise in particular the reviewer who said they hate everybody who likes this movie. I think maybe it's going to work best for people who understand metaphor, and not for people who think every sex scene ever filmed is intended to be sexy.

  Christmas in the Highlands 2019

  + The men's fashion was on point throughout.
  + The accents were pretty accurate (posh Scottish people DO sound English).
  + Loved the housekeeper.
  + It was under 90 minutes long.

  - The women's fashion was awful.
  - Terrible makeup.
  - Terrible hair.
  - The lead female can't act.
  - The sound editing was a hate crime.
  - Magic Santa: if you have him you need to use him properly.

  More "authentic" than Castle for Christmas but (a) that's not saying much and (b) that didn't save it.

  One and a half in good faith for not outstaying its welcome.

Following
