The Day The Earth Blew Up is such a joy to watch. It goes back to the basics of the Looney Tunes legacy of cartoony fun with Porky Pig and Daffy Duck. I didn't know this film even existed until the day of release, and I never saw a single piece of marketing, so I went into this film completely blind. Congo 1995
Congo is a silly feature that knows how to have a good time. The effects are cheesy to say the least, especially the rabid gorilla's at the end of the film, but some of them are pretty decent for the time. Overall, it was a fun adventure film with beautiful locations.

Glory 1989
For Black History Month, my brother and I decided to see Glory in 4K. We saw it when we were kids (which remains as one of our favorite wr films) and surprisingly, my brother remembered this film better than I did. It's inspiring yet heartbreaking when you see the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment fight for their freedom during the Civil War. For honor. For Glory.
