This wasn’t perfect by any means, but I liked how it really dove deep into the reality of some relationships. The feeling of knowing you should let go, but can’t help but hold onto a sliver of hope that someone will change. I thought the cinematography(coloring) was a bit annoying at times, but overall it was a fun ride, and you can’t help but applaud Sophie Thatcher for taking down a misogynistic asshole. Sophie Thatcher world domination please.

Excision 2012
This is solely based around the life of a disturbed teenager who dreams of being a surgeon, while also dealing with her dysfunctional home-life, and the first of many experiences. I like that the film doesn’t shy away from insanity, makes you feel uncomfortable, and depicts a true spiral into madness which can shape the naive and impressionable mind.

I'm Thinking of Ending Things 2020
While I was watching this I kept saying out loud “ what the fuck is happening” but after watching an explanation video it all made sense, well most of it. From the beginning, I felt like I was trying to solve a puzzle that didn’t want to be finished. The storyline deals with commonly portrayed emotions, but in a way that was original and different. It left me feeling sad and weird at 2 am.
