This was great. Two excellent actors absolutely killing it. The plot was clever and well written. I want to spend more time with these two. I love it when something like this seemingly comes out of nowhere and completely makes your day.

Six Swedish Girls in a Boarding School 1979
For a softcore 70's comedy this is so lighthearted and fun and innocent at the same time. Brigitte Lahaie is just magnetic. And I might mention the production values and direction are excellent. I really don't know how you could do this genre any better.

For a film that started a franchise with 137 sequels and spinoffs this was a bit dull and overly convoluted. The first 5 minutes were great and gave me great expectations but then it gets bogged down with a plot about some strangely defined group of psychics trying to discover the secret of the puppetmaster. This one should get more love. They did a great job. It's a camp/spoof of the noir genre crossing with exploitation fun. The script is very clever and highly quotable and Michelle Bauer and Linnea Quigley are great as always. Yes, the blood looks like Kool-Aid but it's okay because it's not supposed to be serious. It's just fun. If you are in the right frame of mind this is an escape.
