Novel as movie. A documentary quality I enjoyed mixed in with wonderful storytelling and cinematography. Pacing was great for the length. Music was subtle and built up at the right moments. Balanced drama with sharp one liners. Cast was excellent all around. Adrien Brody is likely to win another Best Actor Oscar. Brady Corbet has a point with letting the directors cook and may get his own gold statue (if Sean Baker doesn’t). And…we need more intermissions stateside for movies. Solid. Solid.
