Longlegs 2024
Longlegs was good, just kind of shaky marketing that overshadowed the film imo. Cool story that I read as being about trauma, but I can see why there was no mentioned of Nick Cage in the ads. He does the Nick Cage thing and I’m not sure if I was there for it. Awesome cinematography and use of different aspect ratios - the one shot where it changes from academy to widescreen is sick.

Snowpiercer 2013
I had been wanting to watch Snowpiercer for nearly 10 years. Unfortunately, I hesitated because I heard it was “mediocre and boring”. Bad move on my part. Parasite might be a better film (haven’t seen it - sorry) but clearly it wasn’t Bong Joon Ho’s first foray with socioeconomic commentary.
