the sound design was excellent, the music slapped, every shot of the car was literally high-octane crazy, the flashbacks nicely paralleled the present without over-explaining, and the ending had me gagged!!
half-star off for every nameless woman who had her top off like it wasn’t tasteful it was so unnecessary.
saw the credit “nude rider” and said “jesus christ” out loud in the theatre.

literally a classic. this is not a hot take. watched a 4k scan of the original theatrical cut and was absolutely blown away.
the attack on the death star was insane. gets me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
the little trashcans with feet rollin around goin beep-boop were excellent no notes.
remembered the screen-wipes being a lot sillier but they actually looked super nice and were like motivated (like they followed characters moving left/right/up into the background)
luke is very whiny. that is my only negative. but i guess he’s like allowed.
