One of Jack Nicholson's best performances, maybe even my favorite, a true classic masterpiece and one of Polanski's best.
The storytelling of Chinatown along with the screenplay are definitely one of the best things I've ever seen.

This was such a major disappointment. When I read the book last year I completely enjoyed it, but after watching this I just can't understand how did it go so bad.
Starting with Oskar, which I think it was the major flaw in this film. I understand that this was his first appearance in a movie, but the way "autism" was portrayed was awful. And mostly, leaving perhaps what was the best story in the book, which is the grandparents…
