  I'd knew the twist going into the movie and enjoyed the present day interrogation all the more for it. It's the kind of story that wouldn't be very interesting on paper, but the way it's told is engaging and fun, even if you're not left with much to chew on by the time you hit credits.

  It's a great story about destruction through toxic masculinity. There is no love for art, for people, or self for Andrew, just a desperate need for recognition and validation.

  Aaron Pierre's performance is absolutely stellar. So much would be lost without Pierre's ability to demonstrate so much heart, presence, and vulnerability. His performance is by far the best thing the film has to offer.
