  for such a cool idea I honestly expected better execution, especially having seen other 'children's pov' films that do this almost flawlessly. the second half felt better than the first, and upon exiting the cinema I felt good about it, but only because I wanted to. loved the very last scene. very cool at times

  u can argue that its not the best film due to technical or narrative elements, but my experience with it was something that surpasses those aspects of cinema. watching it in a theater full of dutch people that have absolutely no idea what is going on, while I understand the language and cultural nuances that come with it was fucking cathartic; especially at a very homesick and transitional time of my life, where my stay in this foreign country that I hate anyway could end any fucking day. I yearn for my mountains and I yearn to be a long haired man of his own soil
