Robert Eggers continues to be a powerhouse in film making. I could watch this movie with no audio and it would still be beautiful. Visually it was stunning. The story kept you in its shadow the whole time.
My only complaint is that the audio in my theater was low so I had to really focus on some of the dialogue.
Also, ATJ had an incredible performance that I was not expecting and of course Dafoe Da-livered.
Adding this movie to my annual Xmas rotation.
