Midsommar 2019
Truly amazing film. Sure, it is disturbing and it is mad. Nevertheless, no one can deny it's beauty and the mastery that lies behind this movie.
Personally, I had to look away from the screen at times because I wasn't able to bear the imagery that they wasn't afraid to display. Gradually, you realise that if things like this are shown on the camera by the director you can see almost anything.

I saw this one at KVIFF not expecting much. However, it quite suprised me. It offers what you want - a romantic comedy with an insight to cultural differences and the childhood first love which is usually perceived as "the one". The quality is insane and I like when the film doesn't give you the ending you want.
