It Follows 2014
Better than I expect, and as far as low-budget horror movies go, this is one of the better ones I’ve seen.
I loved the way the film looked with its wide shots and voyeuristic camera angles. I’m also a sucker for a slow zoom-in and this movie had about 200 of them.
The downside is I felt like the third act fell a little flat and the plot didn’t really lead to a satisfying conclusion. But it was still a really enjoyable watch.
God the fashion in this movie is terrible though.Translated from by

Do the Right Thing 1989
One of the most nuanced and well-rounded representation of race relations in America, delivered in the form a kickass summer hangout flick.
Using this Brooklyn neighbourhood as a microcosm of America as a whole, Spike does a brilliant job of displaying the insidious nature of every day racism, and how tensions can grow as small and seemingly insignificant incidents can boil over into something far more severe.
The film looks great, it sounds great, it’s fun as hell, and it lands its message in a meaningful and thought-provoking way. A classic to say the least.
