  Adore this film. Think it’s a masterpiece so I went out and bought the 4k UHD Criterion Collection edition for my collection. Scorsese’s best film.

  Okay now this is my favourite De Palma film to date. Kevin Costner is out of this world as per usual and don’t get me started on the supporting cast. Everyone, I mean everyone, is on point from start to finish. The 4k transfer is unbelievably good and was beyond my expectations - really bringing out the exquisite colour grading. Of course, you have the De Palma music touch too which always adds another dimension and layer to his films. Can’t wait to rewatch this.

  It’s been 5 years since I first saw Taxi Driver, and I’ve got to say it only gets better the more you watch it. The atmosphere, the story, the acting, the gritty yet dazzling visuals and the score are just so distinct even today. I understand the film’s difficult cultural legacy, but the incels cannot takeaway from this films true arthouse and esoteric achievement. One of the greatest films ever made. Breathtaking.
