carried almost entirely by mise en scene and camerawork but that aspect is so meticulously designed and executed that i have to forgive its flaws. it's just a total treat to see its presentation of its world.
i am also a sucker for the scene where rachel discovers that her memories aren't real. stepping into her shoes, you see that simple, almost paradoxical, moment somehow encapsulate so many questions about what it means to be a living, conscious being and it punches me in the gut every time.

One of those movies where you can almost taste how much blood, sweat, and tears poured into it. I think I might've literally gasped in awe at the opening sequence where they're on the mountainside. Can't believe this was made for $370,000 even considering it was the 70s.
