Nothing revolutionary. I wish it was more mythological, I was expecting some serious werewolf lore.
I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to be scared or thrilled but I ended up being really intrigued. I love mythological stories and I don’t think I’ve seen much on changelings before this.
I was a bit annoyed at the foolishness of Daniel’s capture but I guess it was needed for us to see the creatures up close.
History and mythology are enough for me to go into academia.
Honestly this was bad. Like baddddd.
Don’t get me wrong there are some decent jump scares but I attribute that to watching this in theaters. For the most part this was an embarrassing watch.
Some of the lines and the delivery actually made me laugh OUT loud uncontrollably and I know that wasn’t the intention.
The ending though is actually horrible. The explanation was cheap but real talk- why would anyone need to pay when no one benefitted? What receipts could possibly be found on the matter? Why would you sell the house after this happened?!? Why did he record that camcorder video?!?
I can’t believe it took me so long to watch…this might be my new favorite film ever. I knew I was going to love Little Miss Sunshine when I heard the theme by Danny DeVotchka and can I just say the movie definitely exceeded my expectations.
