Wolf Man 2025
A good revival of the “creature feature”! The movie goes back to a lot of classic roots, and does a great job of utilizing interesting effects to tell the story of Blake’s transformation. It’s straightforward, uses interesting sound design, and really hits home with its atmosphere. Many might complain about the creature design, but I thought the more-man-than-wolf suited the story well, and was a little more believable for an overnight transformation. It was a fun ride with its themes and plot devices returning to thriller’s roots, would absolutely see it again!
