A Real Pain 2024
So funny and raw and emotionally honest. Being so detached from my own family except for my sister, watching these types of movies unsurprisingly brings those feelings up. Being in the situation will make you feel like you must not feel love at all because familial love is such a big part of peoples’ lives. Movies like this are so fkn good for me because it’s a reminder that, no, I very much have these feelings, and it doesn’t make me broken just because I will not mentally tolerate abuse. anyway I love the movie 🙏
