I’m sort of split on this, like I enjoyed it but at the same time I don’t really know what it was trying to say. It felt like the director really wanted to say a lot but just didn’t have the time to fully flesh it out or it was suppressed by executives, so this was the best we could get.

The Exorcist III 1990
First watched this years ago and was kinda surprised at how it was. It’s like a murder mystery with horror elements but with weird goofy stuff that you can’t take serious sometimes.
The initial scene with patient x is still probably the one of the best performances in the genre. The writing can be pretty hit or miss throughout though. The couple of really good scenes kinda carry the film and my memory of it, the rest is just eh.
